“The issue of a unity government did not come from PAS but was an idea privately pushed. This matter was never discussed in any paper as part of PAS’s agenda or that of the opposition alliance.
“If it is true that Nasharuddin agrees with a unity government it is better that he joins Umno, resigns as the deputy and as Bachok MP,” Nik Aziz told reporters in Kota Baru after the Kelantan state executive council meeting today. [The Malaysian Insider]
This came after Nasharuddin said this:
“This is the first response from the Prime Minister and it is quite serious. I accept it with an open heart.”
That’s the trouble — the dear Ustaz is following his heart rather than using his brains.
The heart, Ustaz, is very vulnerable to temptation.

Hmm, just wanna ask u somethin. Do u use your heart or brain when you wrote about najib and anwar. I suggest u should use your ass if its about anwar.

Nasharuddin has retained his post, that itself proof that he is anything but brainless (and also he has about 50% backing from PAS division itself!). What is he up to pushing for unity govt, maybe the idea is really not that simple…maybe we still have not found his true intention.
If PAS unite with UMNO, the biggest loser is sure to be PAS itself then comes PKR & DAP. Just think of it, the remaining 50% is voting for either Husam or Mat SaBo, this would likely means PAS would tear itself apart right at the centre.
If I’m BN, hey, why not?? kill 2 birds with 1 stone, how sweet can that be? Why MCA, MIC, Gerakan & PPP have not come out opposing to the idea is a tell sign (maybe they will later on..sort of like a reverse screw your mind strategy).
If PAS split into 2, you think BN would care? They will surely say not their fault…give Hadi & konco konco a few cabinet post perhaps…and for how long? after 1 or 2 GE…kick them out again la. Sure PAS binasa lagi. If Hadi & Nas is willing to put PAS in that danger zone, would the 50% of divisions in PAS follow blindly??
