Kipaih Sate Hadi

17 June 2009 | 121 views

Read this in Harakah Daily.

It’s a piece by Wan Abdul Rahman Wan AB Latif, trying to justify Hadi/Nasharuddin’s “Sayang UMNO” campaign.

Listen to this:

Tidak mungkin kedua-dua Tok Guru [Nik Aziz and Hadi] lupa akan pengalaman-pengalaman pahit ini [mistreatment at the hands of UMNO]. Ini sekadar satu contoh. Banyak lagi diskriminasi yang terpaksa dilalui oleh kedua-dua Tok Guru semasa memegang jawatan Menteri Besar.

But despite the bad shit visited by UMNO upon PAS:

Kedua-dua Tok Guru yang warak dan begitu hampir dengan Allah senantiasa memanjangkan tangan persahabatan kepada Umno atas nama perpaduan ummah.

First of all, the two men might be “warak”, but for anyone to make the claim that they are “begitu hampir dengan Allah” is something else.

How the hell (pardon the language) do you know that Hadi and Nik Aziz are “very close to God”?

This is dangerous territory. It’s just one step away from saying that they can do no wrong.

Penyokong Hadi ni dah melampau. Hangpa nak peluk cium UMNO, hangpa pi lah.

But do not try to justify Hadi’s actions as being divinely inspired by arguing that he is close to God, roping in Nik Aziz for good measure, just to bolster your argument and neutralise anti-UMNO sentiments.

Secondly, I think yous people need to quit blowing sunshine up Hadi’s rear end:

Apabila Tuan Guru Presiden melontarkan idea kerajaan perpaduan, ia menunjukkan betapa besarnya jiwa Tuan Guru Presiden yang seolah-olah bersedia untuk memaafkan Umno di atas segala kejahatan yang dilakukan ke atas beliau.

Wow. What a man Hadi is.

Shall we sing his praises and rush to kiss his feet?

Tapi apa nak dihairankan.

Hentikan.

Kalau tak nak berenti, eloklah hangpa semua pi join UMNO.

Pergilah. Ambilah.

PAS tak rugi satu sen pun kalu hangpa pi join depa.

How can they go before the electorate and say they are partners with A, then immediately after the election want to partner B. They are nothing but LIARS. Dont let the religious dressing fool you, they are LIARS. You might not agree with everything Nik Aziz says, but he is a man of principle and consistent. Real muslims do not lie, ustaz or not ustaz.

We should wonder why Hadi and Nasha want to talk to UMNO. WHY? What is wrong with Pakatan Rakyat? We do not know the whole story and Hadi and Nasha cannot tell us the whole story. It is baffling for Hadi and Nasha to talk to UMNO. My question is, what have PR/Anwar/Uncle Lim have done to PAS, or maybe to the Malays?

Or, maybe Hadi and Nasha feel that the Malays/Muslims are being discriminated more by the PR government?

Something is not right and I bet that Hadi, Nasha and Anwar and maybe Uncle Lim know the real story and they are not telling us. And we are left to speculate and calling each other idiots. Baguih lah macam tu.

i’ve always maintained that PAS CANNOT BE TRUSTED to fight for ALL Malaysians, to rise ABOVE race and religion, to put Democracy and Civil Liberty as the priority of their struggle.

it’s ALWAYS ‘Islam First’ for PAS. And for that goal, they can b 2-faced n betray their allies.

u agree with my assessment of YOUR beloved PAS, Aisehman?

Nik Aziz Finally Accepts Unity Talk With Umno
    http://www.bernama.com/bernama/v5/newspolitic.php?id=419644

KOTA BAHARU, June 21 (Bernama) — In a change of heart, PAS spiritual leader Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat has agreed to the unity talk with Umno but with conditions.

He said he could accept the unity government but it should be pursued through a proper channel and the talk should revolve on Islamic issues and not the Malay.

“It cannot ignore decisions made at PAS meetings and it should not be decided at one’s whim and fancy.

“If one wants to pursue the unity story, let table it to the PAS Central Committee first, have it deliberated at the state level and then bring it up to the opposition alliance. Now the opposition alliance is angry with us,” he told a news conference at the menteri besar official residence here today.

Denying that he is a headstrong person, Nik Abdul Aziz, who is also Kelantan Menteri Besar, said instead he was ‘istiqamah’ (steadfast) in pursuing the truth.

He said he had opposed the unity talk proposed by PAS President Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang as he stick by the decision made at the party’s muktamar in Ipoh last year where it had agreed to go along with the opposition alliance.

“Some people had labelled me as a stubborn person because I do not accept the unity government. Let me tell you that I am not stubborn but I am being istiqamah.

“Stubborn means being adamant in defending what is wrong. When we know something is wrong but we will not back down, that is stubborn. But when we know what is true, what is right, that is istiqamah.

“So if there are certain quarters in PAS, who want unity with the opposition pact and at the same time they want unity with Umno, then it spells trouble. Do not do that,” said Nik Abdul Aziz.

He said he had yet to meet PAS Deputy President Nasharudin Mat Isa and the later had also not contacted him to resolve their disputes over the unity talk.

Nik Abdul Aziz, who had urged Nasharudin to resign as PAS president and Member of Parliament for Bachok and join Umno if he persists the unity government agenda, said he would attend a meeting with Abdul Hadi and Nasharudin along with other PAS leaders tomorrow to trash out their differences.

On Umno Deputy President Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin’s statement that Umno and PAS should start their relations anew, Nik Abdul Aziz said Umno should apologise to PAS first.
