Tempers flared today during the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) inquiry into the Port Klang Free Zone (PKFZ) scandal when the head of the anti-graft agency refused to answer most questions thrown at him over its ongoing probe.
The Malaysian Insider understands Datuk Seri Ahmad Said Hamdan had stonewalled the bipartisan parliamentary committee by repeatedly citing legal provisions which he said prevented him from giving specific answers to questions from the lawmakers.
… the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) chief’s stance frustrated Petaling Jaya Utara MP Tony Pua to such an extent that he lost his cool and shouted at the government officer, accusing him of being in contempt of Parliament.
Pua also accused the MACC chief of double standards, citing Ahmad Said’s eagerness recently to make public statements about an ongoing investigations for alleged graft against Selangor Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim.
Ahmad Said remained silent and refused to respond to the accusations. [The Malaysian Insider]

Pasai tu la naik darah aku tengok ada orang PAS yang gian nak berpeluk cium dengan UMNO, seolah olah UMNO pimpinan Najib la ni sudah menuju ke jalan kebaikan, ke jalan yang benaq.
There has been no change, there is no change, there will be no change, selagi UMNO di pimpin oleh orang yang berpegang pada prinsip the ends justify the means.
UMNO is the enemy, and it will continue to be the enemy.
For how long, that is for UMNO members to decide.
I TELL YOU, I would take KJ any day over Najib.
KJ is his own man.

But KJ is still UMNO and UMNO is still the enemy… So for the rakyat, I believe it” NO to UMNO” forever! No matter who it is…Anyone who maybe good and pious before joining UMNO will be infected by the setan virus and thus will be an evil UMNO man afterward. So “NO to UMNO”!

A “victim” filed report, but the “accused” was charged with consensual sex? How convenient? Nevermind medical report.

najib dan umno still the same la. It is always their interest above national interest. PKFZ is a bloody joke. and no one will be caught la. off course unless someone bought some cows with PKFZ money for the rakyat.

I share your views. KJ memang ada kaliber. Just when will it happen??? I don’t know. Everytime he’s silent, I think he’s gonna make a move but has failed me so far by still giving stupid statements everytime he appears. That’s just his way of telling he’s still one of them I guess…..

basic criminal law. it is the fukcing prosecution to prove beyond a doubt that it happened, and not for the defence to prove otherwise, isnt it?

Frankly, I think KJ is the person who can change. Najib cannot change, will never change. He is a dyed-in-the-wool Umno politician. KJ is not what you see and hear. KJ, I believe, is smarter than what people think. I believe KJ has the bloody-minded determination to shake up Umno politics if he gets to the top. But of course, in the Machiavellian and byzantine world of Umno politics and chicanery, he could end up as a has-been.
