Blog Update

30 September 2009 | 1,948 views

I know I haven’t been blogging for a while so I apologise if you’ve been coming here often to see if there’s anything new and finding that there is not much.

Been havin’ a ball on Twitter so if you wanna get kinda like an up-to-the minute update of the ramblings in my mind, follow me @Aisehman.

Not abandoning the blog though. This space is gonna be used for more reasoned observations and arguments. The elections are just a few years away so I got a lot of work to do.

You’ll read more and more postings in Bahasa Malaysia over here, as @Khairykj (yes, that KJ, the Kool Jantan) inspired me to also reach out to my Melayu bros and sistahs who are more comfortable with the vernacular if I wanted to change their minds.

He’s right.

So, if you need a daily Aisehman fix, Twitter is where you can get me.

Stay tuned, don’t touch that dial, and remember: This is our country, damn it. OURS. Not UMNO’s.

I remember your comment on Isa offering himself as BN’s candidate for Bagan Pinang. What say you now that BN has endorsed him as the candidate.

Was seriously considering putting out a ‘Missing in Cyberspace’ ad. out on you!!!

I can see why you’re branching out to include BM. This is more of a matter of overcoming the language barrier and reaching out to the Malay populace, which is a reality in this country.

    Good move.

Hi, Yes you are right. I am one of those in the group that come searching your blog everyday. I guessed then that you would hv gone for your deserved long raya break. Anyway, wishing you a Selamat Hari Raya. Glad that you are back. Waiting to read and laugh on your next posting, and I must thank you for that. BM is a national language, so no qualms on which medium you choose. Hopefully more would realise the true scene in our country, thanks to bloggers like you. I hope to one day see you in person.Salaam

I agree with your move to do more posts in BM, but perhaps you might consider writing dual-language postings too. What I mean is, insert a couple of English paragraphs in between.

You’ve done it before, and I think it’s a very unique Malaysian way of communicating. It doesn’t always have to be either one or the other or none at all, eh? Cheers!

Definitely a good idea to outreach to the Malays.

I guarantee you 90% of the English speakers and readers are for Pakatan !

Seriously, you should blog more in Bahasa Malaysia. Your service to the country is very much needed. If the political situation is not change soon, Malaysia will be going down hill. Going uphill is tough and takes lots of determination and effort but going downhill is fast and easy…..just roll down.

Ours, not Umno’s and certainly not anwar ibrahim’s and Pakatan’s either.

    Remember that.

Take a look at this before we condemn everything Malaysian.

This whole thing about incompetent government is something we may well have imported from our white neighbours.

I like this blog it is interesting.
